Kalle Carranza
Kalle was born in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and grew up surfing in Nayarit. After winning junior nationals in Ensenada, he realized he could become a professional surfer. After finishing high school, he went to junior college in San Diego, so he could surf while earning a degree. After a winter vacation in Hawaii (one that was supposed to last two weeks, but stretched to four months), Kalle got his first surfing contract. Kalle now travels the globe, meeting amazing people, surfing incredible waves and learning about world culture.
